When Rombauer Vineyards decided to purchase Renwood Winery in Plymouth California, Signet Inspection Group was called upon as part of their due diligence checklist to inspect this sprawling 54,769 sq. ft winery complex which encompassed 8 separate buildings and included bottled cased goods, barrel storage, fermentation, office and garage/shop buildings as well as a tasting room. As is common with many of our commercial building inspections that house operating retail businesses, we were required to complete the wine tasting room portion before it opened to the public. Comprised in this inspection were robust electrical systems, red iron steel I-beam construction and drone roof inspections conducted by our FAA certified drone pilot. A structural engineer was also brought in after the initial inspection to evaluate structural anomalies discovered in load bearing columns.
